Paul DeLorenzo, a graduate of Siena College and Pace University of Law, has spent the last 20 years serving residents of the Capital District at his law practice, DeLorenzo, Grasso & Dalmata LLP, located in Schenectady, New York. Inspired by his late father Thomas DeLorenzo, who founded the firm, he has been a steadfast defender and representative for his clients, with clients and judges in the region recognizing him for his professionalism, experience, and knowledge. Paul’s father instilled in him a strong belief in family values, honesty, and hard work that he knows will make him a perfect candidate to represent the area in Albany.
Paul has focused for the last twenty years on personal injury law because he enjoys fighting for the people who need help against the big corporations and insurance companies. Paul is known as a fighter who never gives up on a case and is known to be very compassionate about his work and his clients.
DeLorenzo is a regular faculty member of the NBI group, where he routinely instructs area lawyers on updates within the law and trial practice skills. He has lectured to hundreds of local attorneys and provides sound advice to their questions of trial tactics. His firm has been successful in recovering millions of dollars for accident victims, proving his skill and expertise.
His main priorities to tackle once securing office are to be a real and unwavering opponent of the state’s bail reform measures—working to ensure they are repealed successfully; securing funding for our children, low-income, and underprivileged families in our communities; aid for after-school programs and educational opportunities; ensuring that our senior citizens are financially stable and have access to the medical services they need; protecting the Great Sacandaga Lake; and working to reduce the cost of living and high taxes that are crippling our middle-class families.
Paul and his family have resided in Rotterdam his entire life, he has a son Nicholas. In addition to being an accomplished and dedicated attorney, in his spare time DeLorenzo enjoys spending time outdoors, skiing, walking, reading, exercising, attending community events, swimming, traveling, spending time at Sacandaga Lake, and attending family outings.
